The four wheels made of rubber are ideal for pavements as well as urban terrain however they're not made for off-roading - they struggled on gravel and long grass and there's a lack of space between the bracket and the wheel, so mud got stuck easily. Our testers noted that the Nipper Double was incredibly easy to maneuver, even walking on uneven ground or turning swiftly in a busy street. The possibility that the seats could be reclined independently was hugely appreciated.
The hoods were also easy to adjust for wind or sun protection. They didn't offer as much coverage as the Baby Jogger City Mini Hoods. It's probably worth packing an extra rain cover inside the case.
Overall, our test participants loved the way that Nipper Double let them to take their twins Sydney and Lyla on a variety of adventures, from seeing wildlife in the woods, to rushing to the park for a quick playdate. The testers were also impressed by how spacious and comfortable the two seats are. There's plenty of room to stretch out for growing toddlers. Our testers did mention that the lack of parent-facing seating and the inability to use car seats with this buggy were a problem, and they would have liked to see more storage space for shopping and other gear.
